eXTREMESLAND Asia Announces the ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Festival 2020
Nov 25th 2020
eXTREMESLAND Asia is proud to announce the 2020 edition of ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO! Now in the fifth year, we find ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic and a fundamental shift in the experience and expectations of esports fans.
It was a challenge for us to decide on whether to host eXTREMESLAND this year. However, considering the health crisis, safety was and remains, a primary concern.
This year, we have decided to offer the opportunity for teams across the APAC region to compete in five regional events that will take place over the course of 8 exciting weeks! With the spirit of Asia and open competition format as the focus, our emphasis this year will be on providing the opportunity for teams to compete and be featured to an online audience.
The total prize pool of US $6,000 will be split equally between 4 out of 5 regions. First place will be US$1000, and second place is US$500. For the East Asia Region, featured prizes include our sponsored products: ZOWIE XL2546K, and ZOWIE XL2540KE.
