eXTREMESLAND announce its cancelation on upcoming CS:GO Asia Open 2020
This might be bad news for everyone who is waiting for the upcoming eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2020. Even though the event would only happen later in this year, but we are faced with concerns and many uncertainties over the global pandemic of COVID-19. This is only making an impact on the games, players, staffs, and their families but also taking consideration of the travel ban and quarantine rules that might remain later this year.
Thus, eXTREMESLAND Official has made this difficult and reluctant decision and announced the cancelation of eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2020 Shanghai Final.
With these been said, we will not turn Asia Open into an online tournament. As we take players' integrity and competition fairness very seriously.
Nonetheless, esports is a very lucky industry, as gamers are still able to enjoy what we love through the internet. Therefore alternatively, we will instead be forming other types of tournaments over different game titles for both grass-root to professional level players to enjoy without traveling and taking the risk of infection.
Please stay tuned to find out more about the eXTREMESLAND 2020 events, and please do stay safe and stay at home.
